You will learn what types of domains are there to help you decide what domain is best for your business.

I will recommend to you a hosting which is very affordable yet very powerful with automated daily backups and one-click staging environment setups.

Install your website

I will provide you with a website install file which will have 80% of your website ready for you. The remaining 20% we will finish together over one weekend.

How does it work?

We will be spending several hours together on Friday (evening), Saturday (morning), and Sunday (morning). Here is the high-level overview for Friday:

  • Friday: getting to know each other and me learning what you do and what you are looking to accomplish as your goal
    • We will go over the prep phase of you selecting your domain that will be the best for your business / niche (if you cannot make that decision right away, do not worry – the hosting we will be using will make it easy to work on your website even you have no domain yet) – a domain will cost you some $10-$15 per year
    • Hosting purchase: the hosting I will recommend will cost you some $12/month. You can easily upgrade later if you need better performance but the $12/mo. plan will be more than enough to get started. Yes this is different from the cheapest and shared hosting that is not really good for business websites for many reasons.
    • Your other online assets needed: you will need to have a
      • Your legal business name and contact info to set in the CRM system;
      • GMail account for your CRM / Autoresponder;
      • PayPay and/or Stripe login access – we will connect those with your website so you can accept online payments for your courses / coaching and consulting sessions and so on;
      • Twilio account API key for SMS autoresponder and messaging;
      • Your social media accounts access for connecting your website with your social channels for content distribution

This prep phase is very important to do properly. All the info you will prepare in this phase will be used in the next two days of the workshop. In order to conduct the workshop in the planned time frame and to respect everyone’s time, it is really essential to have this prep dine properly and completely. Not only will this allow you to copy-paste the needed information during the workshop but you will be logged into your social media accounts where will will connect them with your website with one click.

Here are some activities we will cover on Saturday:

  • Saturday: we will work in laying the infrastructure for the site, like setting up some labeling and internal admin tools and settings so we can properly keep track on all the internal tools and pages we will create as well as setting up communication tools and payment gateways:
    • Setting proper track keeping on all plugins and internal website pages have some kind of documentation for later updates and upgrades
    • Setting up your website CRM and connecting with your GMail account as well as setting up your lists, segments, and tags.
    • Setting up your website forms and connecting them with the CRM with their corresponding lists, segments and tags as well as setting up automated email responses.
    • Setting up admin SMS notifications when someone submits a form or registers on our website.
    • Connecting PayPal and Stripe payment gateways with your website so we can sell our products / services from your website.
    • Connecting your Twilio account with your CRM and setting rules for sending SMS to your visitors and alerts to yourself for quick and easy response.
  • Sunday: selecting desired theme and setting the basic website pages: about, contact, blog, landing page, shop, compliance pages, compliance tools (ADA) and connecting pages with other website tools previously setup.
    • We will have the option to chose from few themes each of which has multiple templates to select from.
    • The base page setup connecting with your forms and CRM as well as laying out page structure and blog archives
    • Setting up your e-commerce shop so you can sell physical as well as digital products (digital boos, courses) and coaching / consulting sessions and paid call appointments.
    • Populating your pages with your relevant information.
    • Troubleshooting any issues we encounter in the process.
